Task 04: Preliminary Task - Contribution

I fell that Kai, Stephanie and I worked effectively as a group, we discussed our ideas and we ensured that everyone was heard. Whilst we worked well, there we no major issues and I feel that we equally contributed in the process of creating and replicating Keri Hilson's music video. Furthermore, we took turns to film various pieces of the music clip that we weren't in as well as doing our best to equally split the role of lip syncing. Once we had recorded various pieces of the clip and gathered our footage, I fell that we fairly shared out the role of editing. We all ensured that we effectively communicated throughout the process of filming and editing in order to ensure that we were all happy with the final outcome.

Task 04: Preliminary - Final Edit

This is our final product which we attempted to replicate as accurately as possible using a range of skills such as, filming, lip syncing and editing.

Purpose Of A Music Video

Task 04: Preliminary Task - Music Video

For our preliminary task we worked in small groups and our task was to replicate a professional music video. In order to recreate and execute the music video to a high standard we all had to participate in various aspects of a music clip, for example, lip syncing, filming and editing. Participating in these various areas would enable us to gain a greater insight as to what we would have to do/take part in, in order to create our own music video to a professional standard. We chose to replicate the following music video:
Keri Hilson - Knock You Down ft. Kanye West, Ne-Yo
(Original Clip)

As the music video had a very long duration we decided to recreate a small part of the clip inn order to still gain knowledge of the process we have to go through in order to create our own music video. The part of the video that we are replicating is the followng:
(Shortened Clip)
